The fabrics we use to make our
workwear garments are kantha blankets from India.
They are the foundation.

Each kantha is completely unique,
a one of one made by hand using
repurposed cottons that are layered,
handstitched, mended and patched.

One kantha makes one jacket
or one pair of trousers.

Why workwear?
Workwear is for anyone and
everyone.

Our trousers, jackets & bags
are made in a small workshop
in London.

About

Workwear garments are the timeless foundation for the unique fabrics we use; workwear suits every body.

Our kantha fabrics are aged and patched, made of many fine layers stitched together by hand.

They are living fabrics, the beauty is in the imperfection.

The layers beneath are revealed over time.

Our process of selecting fabrics and carefully laying patterns, cutting each piece one by one, makes our garments completely unique and highlights the best of each fabric.

We Are All One of One is:

Two friends, studied together, lived together, both worked in fashion for longer than we care to remember, and two shared obsessions; textiles and workwear.

Jumana & Andrea.

After a trip to India in 2024 we reminisced about the people we’d met and the fabrics we’d left behind.

The Kanthas were our favourite fabrics, stunningly beautiful and each unique. We connected with a family in Jaipur, experts in sourcing antique kanthas, meaning those that are over 30 years old. Kanthas are made by ordinary women at home. Each an individual's creative expression. Kanthas hold stories from the past, told through every stitch and living through its layers. They are the resourceful reuse of fabrics and part of a tradition of upcycling. They are the opposite of throwaway, the opposite of fast fashion.

Kanthas became our endless topic of conversation. We talked about how to repurpose them again; as garments, giving them another life. This is how We Are All One Of One came about.

Ageless, Genderless & Timeless workwear garments using repurposed fabrics.

We decided to make our pieces in the UK, in London, where we could partner with a factory working closely with the whole team, from the pattern cutter to the fabric cutter, the machinists and the production team. They have responded to the Kantha in the same way that we have, seeing the beauty in every stitch and appreciating the idiosyncrasies of each piece, working with us to get the best garment out of each unique Kantha.

Buying and wearing a piece is a conscious choice, outside of fashion trend. The true value is measured in how many times the piece is worn, not how it looks this season. Each jacket, each pair of trousers and each bag, evolves with you over time revealing the layers beneath, becoming a new version of itself.

Our Model

We believe in paying fairly for the work people do.

We source our kanthas together with one family in Jaipur, India and pay them fairly.

Real people make our garments and are paid the London living wage.

Every garment is crafted with skill and care; prices reflect a Made in the UK product.

We don’t sell to retailers because the traditional retail markup would increase the price significantly.

appreciation of the beautifully

crafted, together with everything

textile and workwear.
